We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Server / Bartender to join our team. This position combines traditional dining room service with bartending responsibilities, so the ideal candidate must be comfortable working both on the floor and behind the bar. We are looking for someone who can provide attentive service, prepare and serve beverages, and create a welcoming experience for every guest.

The right candidate is a team player who can multitask, stay organized in a fast-paced environment, and adapt to the needs of the restaurant throughout each shift. Training and development for candidates who demonstrate strong customer service skills and a willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly, provide menus, and deliver friendly, attentive service throughout their visit.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter orders into the POS system.
• Serve food and beverages in the dining room while ensuring guests have a positive dining experience.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and guest preferences.
• Mix and serve cocktails, pour beer and wine, and maintain knowledge of the drink menu.
• Assist guests seated at the bar while balancing the needs of dining room guests.
• Make menu and beverage recommendations and answer questions about food, drinks, and specials.
• Monitor guest satisfaction, address concerns professionally, and communicate with management when needed.
• Process payments, handle cash and credit card transactions accurately, and reconcile checks as required.
• Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked dining areas, bar areas, and service stations.
• Restock beverages, glassware, garnishes, and other supplies as needed.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, responsible alcohol service, and age-verification requirements.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen staff, fellow servers, bartenders, and management to ensure smooth service.
• Complete opening, closing, and side-work duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous serving and bartending experience preferred.
• Comfortable working both in the dining room and behind the bar, with the ability to transition between responsibilities as business needs change.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and remain composed during busy shifts.
• Basic knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and standard beverage preparation.
• Comfortable using a POS system and processing customer payments.
• Dependable, punctual, and professional, with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.
• Must meet applicable minimum age requirements for alcohol service and possess any required alcohol service certifications.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift or carry trays, beverage supplies, and other items as needed.
